NEP 2020 aligned4-stage framework
CBSE curriculum

A strong foundation for every stage of learning

Aligned with NEP 2020, our CBSE curriculum is designed to develop conceptual understanding, critical thinking and life skills — moving beyond rote memorisation at every stage.

Ages 3–8 · Pre-Primary to Grade 3

Foundational Stage

The Foundational Stage focuses on building early literacy and numeracy skills through play-based, activity-centred learning. Children develop language proficiency, number sense, and social-emotional skills in a nurturing, joyful environment.

  • Play-way and activity-based pedagogy
  • Holistic development — cognitive, social and emotional
  • English, Hindi and introductory Math through exploration
  • Story-telling, rhymes, arts and creative expression
  • Individual observation and personalised care
Ages 8–11 · Grades 4–5

Preparatory Stage

The Preparatory Stage builds on the foundational skills with more structured learning. Students are introduced to the core subjects of Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Science through experiential and inquiry-led approaches.

  • Concept-based teaching — understanding over memorisation
  • Introduction to scientific inquiry and observation
  • Language development — reading comprehension & creative writing
  • Collaborative projects and group learning
  • Regular formative assessments with detailed feedback
Ages 11–14 · Grades 6–8

Middle Stage

The Middle Stage broadens the academic experience with in-depth study of Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Students engage with analytical thinking and problem-solving through interdisciplinary learning.

  • Languages: English, Hindi, French, Sanskrit
  • Mathematics — algebraic thinking and data analysis
  • Integrated Science and Social Science programmes
  • Interdisciplinary projects and research-based learning
  • Student leadership and responsibility integrated into curriculum
Ages 14–18 · Grades 9–12

Secondary Stage

The Secondary Stage prepares students for CBSE Board examinations and competitive entrance tests. Three streams — Science, Commerce and Humanities — offer focused pathways aligned with future academic and career goals.

  • Science stream — Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • Commerce stream — Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies
  • Humanities stream — History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology
  • Vocational courses — Banking, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Design, Retail
  • Dedicated board exam preparation and career counselling
Assessment approach: Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) — periodic tests, subject enrichment activities, practical assessments and term-end exams. Focus on understanding, not rote learning. Annual Planner PDFs available on request from the school office.
