Providing a landscape where curiosity takes root and growing a vibrant, distinctive, constant source of knowledge is crucial. Children are like empty vessels to be filled with imagination, creativity and building a knowledge tree.
High- spirited and energetic learners sprout their new branches and grow their trees to the tune of their own heart’s song. Nurturing and encouraging each child’s own growth process can continue by providing a healthy environment with plenty of intellectual minerals in the soil.
Schools have a great responsibility towards future leaders by not only teaching them how to read and write, but also educating them about environmental awareness.
It’s high time each child realizes that the planet is currently facing an increasing number of environmental challenges including climate change, global warming, floods, water scarcity and pollution. Our future leader should engage in their environment to protect it and help communities become more environmentally aware.
JBM Global School has always encouraged its students to make connections between human health and Earth’s health to identify the relationship that connects them with other organisms on the planet either by bringing nature into the classroom or by making each child plant a sapling on his/her birthday or by asking them to go for a nature walk with their families.
Parents are regularly asked to share their environmental knowledge to their kids at home by making them practice small tasks including picking up the trash and throwing the garbage, switching off the electrical appliances when not in use or washing their hands with soap and not letting the water run down.
