The skill of budgeting develops the worth of money. Children should be smart enough to organize the money which they get as pocket money or rewards. Skills of budgeting help them prioritizing their expenditure. Life skill of budgeting helped students understand the difference between the need to have and nice to have things. They get prepared to distinguish their needs from wants to know the priority. Students were introduced with 50/30/20 rule of budgeting that would help them budget their money as 50% for needs, 30% for wants and 20% for savings.  Students learnt the importance of savings. Students solved the case study to know how budgeting can get them what they really want in life. Students learnt, it’s not about having more money, it’s about being happy with what you have!
