Preserving Environment
It’s important for children today to be sensitive to the environment and realize the importance of this planet Earth. This fourth class of life skills taught them the need to preserve the environment and protect it from further exploitation. Students were helped to understand the environmental effects caused by the increasing population. Beyond raising them with individual responsibilities towards the environment, students were channelized to think about it on a global level and get the idea of UNEP’s (United Nation of Environment Problem) 17 goals which help the globe bring sustainable development. This gave them a wider view of analysing the root of the problem. Students understood how poverty, gender inequality, education and industrialization contribute to the environment of the country.
