Orientation is an opportunity for the new parents and students to get acclimated to the culture of the school – the second home, its rules and expectations and get familiar with the faculty members.To learn their way around the campus, and find out more about the year ahead, curriculum requirements and pedagogy.
An orientation programme for the new students of Class Pre-Primary to XII and their parents was held in the school auditorium of JBM Global School, Noida, on 1 April 2023. It was a sincere effort made by the school to familiarize them as partners in progress with the curriculum, rules and regulations, scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our Managing Director Mr. Gurudutt , Principal Dr. Upma Arora, Managing Director – JBM Smart Start, Mr. Chhavi Narayan Arora, Director Academics Mrs. Nalini Bahl, Senior Coordinator, Class VI to XII, Mrs. Vandana Gupta, Coordinator Class I to V and Cambridge Incharge, Mrs. Payal Batra and esteemed grandparents of the new students.This was followed by invocation in the form of a mesmerizing Kathak dance performance.
Welcoming the parents to the new academic session, Principal, Dr. Upma Arora and Managing Director, Mr. Gurudutt, introduced the school team and spoke in detail about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care, to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.
Director Academics, Mrs.Nalini Bahl gave a warm welcome to the parents and students and shared a few tips on good parenting with tutelage to deal with Gen Alpha and Gen Z.
Mrs. Payal Batra shared her views on well-being and happiness, one of the most important aspects of life!
Mrs. Vandana Gupta apprised on assessment and evaluation – qualitative and quantitative determining criteria of students’ performance.
Mr. Chhavi Narayan Arora briefed the parents about important aspects of having a strong and interactive communication with the school patrons by leveraging different communication channels such as the JBM Mobile App.
Important information regarding the school and a ready reckoner was presented by the students. The presentation included particulars about the school campus, curriculum, JBM Mobile App, Annual planner, safety and security, transport, healthcare etc.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the parents proposed by our Principal.
Following this, parents moved to the respective classes for an interactive session with the class teachers.
