On October 3, 2023, an atmosphere filled with excitement and anticipation prevailed at the Aahwan Inter-School Athletics Competition. The athletic meet was
officially declared open by the Chairman, Mr. Gurudutt Arora, and the Principal, Dr. Upma Arora.
This event, hosted at JBM Global School, brought together young athletes from various schools to showcase their prowess in track and field events, under the able guidance of their coaches, Ms. Niti Tomar and Mr. S. N Rai.
The competition featured athletes in three age categories – Under-10, Under-12,and Under-14 – comprising both boys and girls. These young talents participated in
a wide range of events, including the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints, long jump, shot put, javelin throw, and exhilarating relay races. The event aimed to
promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the youth.
The Aahwan Inter-School Athletics Competition was more than just a series of races and events; it was a platform for these aspiring athletes to come together,
learn from each other, and build lasting friendships. The spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship was palpable throughout the competition, as participants cheered for one another, regardless of the school they represented.
The event drew a substantial crowd of sports officials, teachers, and sports enthusiasts who came to cheer for the young athletes. Their encouragement and applause added to the vibrant atmosphere and motivated the participants to give their best, just as Ms. Niti and Mr. Rai had inspired and coached them to do.
At the end of the competition, awards were presented to athletes who displayed exceptional skill and sportsmanship. These awards not only recognized their
achievements but also celebrated the dedication and hard work instilled in them by their coaches.
