JBM Global School, Noida conducted ‘Intra School Model United Nations-JBMMUN’21’ on 25 August 2021 during the school hours. Several students under the guidance and mentorship of teacher incharges actively participated in this programme. The programme began with the invocation through a wonderful mime performance by the students followed by a presentation on the working of the committees with their agendas and organizing committee members. The chief guest, Managing Director, Mr. Gurudutt Arora motivated the young delegates and the organizing committee by his words of wisdom. The principal, Dr. Upma Arora extended a cordial welcome to the chief guest, young delegates and parents while declaring the meet open. Director Academic, Mrs. Nalini Bahl announced the final results for all the committees. Director Administration Dr. Seema Bhandari applauded the young delegates and efforts made by the Students council by her words of encouragement. There were six committees- United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)raising the agenda of ‘Impact has the COVID-19 pandemic had on vulnerable groups and global response to it’, United Nations Security Council(UNSC) with the agenda of ‘The Situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian’, United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) uprising the young delegates on ‘The Regulations Of Cryptocurrency’, All India Political Party Meet(AIIPM) reviewing ‘NDA Government’s Recent Policies Regarding COVID-19’ and United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) highlighting ‘Drastically Reducing Maritime Pollution’ and PressCops as the poster making committee. The students were guided by teacher incharges Ms. Pallavi and Ms. Usha for AIPPM, Ms.Rasna and Ms.Priyanka as teacher incharges and Ms. Nidhi Rathi as EB for UNHRC, Ms.Nishtha and Ms. Sara as teacher incharges for ECOSOC, Ms. Preet Kamal, Ms. Mahua as teacher incharges with Ms. Mani as EB for UNSC, Ms. Sikha and Ms. Seema Goswami for UNEA with Ms. Himani as the EB. Mrs. Nalini Malhotra’s commendable efforts in the poster making in PressCops inspired the students to come up with beautiful artwork on the agendas of the given committees. Ms. Smriti prepared the presentation. The cultural programme was prepared by Ms. Anusuya and Ms. Uma.

Mr. Chhavi Narayan Arora, IT head, rendered extensive support for the smooth functioning of the programme.
Students council members as the organizing committee and EB played an important role in successful conducting of the programme. Head boy, Krish Mehta, Head girl, Ria Srivastava, Kenisha, along with other members of students council- Divyansh Rana, Anika Jain, Deepansha, Saanika, Lakshya, Ansh Walia, Kartik Sangwan and Tanisha worked impeccably to make the programme a grand success.
In PressCops (poster making) ,first position was awarded to Shweta Sonkar, VII A and
Panshul Goyal ,XA. Second position was presented to Deepanshi Bhardwaj,VII A, Rudrakshi Sangwan, VII A and Ujjaini Goel VII A. Third position was bagged by Saanvi Bist VI A, Syed Hamza VII A Cambridge, Rahul Kumar, XIB, Ansuya Mahajan, VIA and Yogita Sharma, VII A.
The Best delegation overall award was presented to class IX- B, for best performers in all committees.
The best delegate award was bagged byGuneet Kaur, VIII-A ( UNEA), Rudrakshi Goel,XI-A(ECOSOC), C.H.Mridhul,VIII Cambridge (UNSC), Saanvi Warikoo, XI-C( UNHRC) and Bhavya Matta, IX-B( AIPPM).
The high commendation was accoladed to Ekta Sharma, VIII-A ( UNEA), Hera Alam, VIII Cambridge (ECOSOC), Hardik Parashar, VII-B(UNSC), Arnav Agarwal, VII-A,Cambridge,(UNHRC) and Ananya Handoo, X-A ( AIPPM)
Special Mention was presented to Ayush Rana,VII B, (UNEA),Soumya Chauhan,VI Cambridge (ECOSOC),Moksh Chaudhary,IX-B,(UNSC),Atharv Rathore, VII-A Cambridge(UNHRC) and Janki Arora, X-B ( AIPPM).
Atulya Saxena, VIII-B( UNEA), Anubhav, VI Cambridge (ECOSOC),Aaradhya Gupta, VII-A Cambridge (UNHRC), Pranjali Rana and Shipra Saxena,IX-A and Deyank Singh,IX-B( AIPPM) won verbal mention award.
Each delegate participated with complete vigour and anticipation to win.The event was brought to a close by inspiring speech and vote of thanks by Principal Dr.Upma Arora.
