Decision Making
Life skills improve the way of living. One of the most important life skills is decision making. There is a tremendous need for good decision-makers in today’s world. Our young minds are going to be tomorrow’s leaders who will need to make more deliberate and thoughtful decisions. This summer vacation they were helped to develop skills to organize relevant information and define alternatives. Students learnt how by being a good listener, open-minded, flexible and realistic they can make good decisions in their life. It was also emphasized that decisions should be based on good values, experience and common sense. Students drilled their skills by a case study of Steven’s choice of quitting piano class to join fun activities. A few students came up with appropriate decision keeping in mind the process of decision making. The learners were given a set of case studies to do like their home task. It was indeed a life lesson for our V-VIII learner.
